A new employer, or more room in this role?
Maya likes her team and her flexible hours, but wants more ownership. Her first question: can she get it where she already works?
Fictional example. These are illustrative report excerpts, not a customer result.
- What she wants to protect
- Her current income and a schedule compatible with her responsibilities.
- A trade-off she would consider
- Regular project reviews in exchange for more freedom over day-to-day decisions.
| What matters | Reshape her current role | Explore a new employer |
|---|---|---|
| Autonomy | Ask to own a project; scope is not yet agreed. | Role description suggests ownership; decision authority needs checking. |
| Flexibility | Her current arrangement works. | Actual hours and location expectations are unknown. |
| Security | Current salary is known. | Offer and pay progression are not yet confirmed. |
Her next conversation
“Could I own the next project from planning to delivery, with a review every two weeks?”
After a month: did she gain a real say in decisions, and did her workload stay manageable?
Turn your priorities into a decision you can explain.

Put your priorities beside your strengths.
Work Values shows what you want from work. Career Strengths shows how you tend to work. Career Clarity helps you turn a decision into a next step.
Before you begin.
How does the assessment work?
You rate 48 statements from 1 (not important) to 5 (essential), four for each of 12 areas. Their average is your importance rating for that area. Eight hypothetical trade-offs help you consider competing needs; they do not change those ratings. You order five priorities, optionally mark up to three as non-negotiable, and describe current conditions across all 12 areas. This is an exploratory self-report questionnaire, not a validated psychometric instrument. It does not compare you with other people. Older profiles keep their original 36-item scoring.
Do I need to be looking for a new job?
No. You can use your priorities to prepare a conversation about your current role, responsibilities, schedule or support. If you are starting out or returning to work, leave current conditions as unknown and use the questions to investigate opportunities.
Will it tell me which job to choose?
No. The decision is yours. Your priorities are one input, alongside the income you need, your experience, your responsibilities and what you can find out about a role. The profile gives you questions to ask. It does not give a career verdict or an employer fit score.
What is free, and what costs $29?
The full questionnaire, your personal profile and the fictional example are free. A single $29 payment unlocks three reports: Work Values Profile, Work Alignment, and Decision & Conversation Guide, plus an editable workspace saved in your account. There is no subscription. Existing Career Strengths reports are separate products.
Are my answers saved or shared?
Your statement draft and completed profile stay in this tab’s browser session. Signing in does not automatically save them to your account: choose Save, or buy the reports, to save your completed profile. If you buy without an account, your profile is saved to a free account for the email you pay with. Workspace edits are saved when you choose Save. Your answers are not sent to an AI service or a coach. Clearing the browser copy leaves account records in place; use your account’s data controls to manage saved data.
Can my priorities change?
Yes. Revisit your answers when your situation or your decision changes. The profile describes your ratings and choices for one situation. It is not a permanent label. Weigh it alongside your own examples and practical constraints.
